I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and provided a peaceful night's sleep with stunning views over the countryside. They were immaculately clean and equipped with everything I needed, including a generous hospitality tray with a great selection of tea, coffee, and biscuits. The complimentary bottle of prosecco and flowers added a special touch to my stay.

The staff went above and beyond to keep everyone safe during these times, including catering to a family member with coeliac disease by ensuring gluten-free options were available. They provided excellent room service, housekeeping, and a warm welcome drink. It was evident they cared about every guest's well-being.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, offering stunning views over Rosedale. It was an excellent base to explore the area, and the surrounding village was pleasant and charming. The area was perfect for a leisurely 11-mile walk along the old railway tracks alongside the River Seven.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were cosy with a great view and equipped with everything we needed, but it was extremely loud, and our room wasn't replenished on the second day. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster; while the staff were pleasant and welcoming, there were some issues with communication and pricing. The location was excellent, albeit a bit tricky to find at first, offering beautiful views of the Yorkshire Dales. The dining experience was good with a reasonable choice, though the timing could have been better. Overall, it was a memorable stay with its ups and downs.
